Every week, the folks at InVision send a roundup of their best blog content, their favorite design links from the week, and a new opportunity to win a free t-shirt. (Seriously. They give away a new design every week.) They also sometimes have fun survey questions where they crowdsource for their blog. This week's, for example, asked subscribers what they would do if the internet didn't exist.

How do I export email list from Gmail?

If you’d like to keep in touch with our support team through online chat or email, upgrade to our Essentials plan starting at $9.99 a month. Whether you’re hitting a roadblock with an email you’re writing or want more information about how something works, help is available around the clock. And when you’re ready to take your marketing to the next level, we have plans for that, too.

Full-featured email marketing apps—including MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, and more—go well beyond sending emails. They help you gather contacts with forms and landing pages, send emails automatically through RSS feeds and drip email schedules, and track results often with built-in CRM tools. All of that will be customizable for your brand, so your emails stand out from the crowd.

Hi Thanks for your helpful information. I have Madmimi for my website and want to have my e-book as a free download for email subscribers. I read where you said make an activation landing page link to my website. So after the subscriber hits the e-book cover it would take them to a page I set up within madmimi? Or would they go to the separate optin page on my website first then to madmimi? Thanks for your help.

Who wins? Between MailChimp and Mad Mimi, MailChimp wins in features, Mad Mimi wins in price. Analytics junkies will appreciate the way MailChimp’s stats are front and center, but from there they require a lot of clicks, whereas Mad Mimi’s stats, though more hidden, are easy to see and understand at a glance once you get to them. Mad Mimi provides less options overall, making it simple and easy for beginners; MailChimp provides endless customization, along with better options for giving a free download exclusively to your subscribers. MailChimp allows for multiple RSS to email campaigns per feed URL, but Mad Mimi requires a work-around (add ?1 to the end of your feed URL to use it again). Mad Mimi’s site has a casual, friendly feel, while MailChimp gives an impression of professionalism (despite the chimp). Everyone talks about Mad Mimi’s great customer service, and every word you hear is true; yet I’ve never even had occasion to contact MailChimp’s customer service because everything is well organized and their knowledge base is so complete. Ultimately, I chose MailChimp for my personal use (you can’t beat the control and flexibility), and Mad Mimi for ministry use (the price is right when you are dealing with large lists).

How can I create a distribution list from an email?

Free plan:SendinBlue Email’s free plan can support unlimited contacts and send up to 300 emails per day–that’s up to 9,000 emails per month. This is inclusive of its mobile-friendly email designer, email template library, and email and SMS personalization.Paid plans:SendinBlue Email currently offers three monthly plans: the Lite plan at €19.00/month which can support up to 40,000 email per month and has no daily sending limit; the Essential plan at €29/month which allows you to remove the SendinBlue branding and provides you with advanced statistics; and the Premium plan at €49/month which comes with landing page builders, unlimited automation workflows, and a send time optimization tool. They also offer an Enterprise plan, which is only available by quote and comes with a dedicated account manager.5. EngageBayCRM software EngageBay is billed as one of the best solutions, amongst the cohort of new products available in the market. Sales, Marketing and Service solutions are all integrated into one intuitive dashboard. Aimed at SMBs, this allows users to be on top of all CRM-related business processes all at once in one platform.Looking deeper into its marketing software, EngageBay provides extensive marketing solutions. Users can design their marketing workflow into the CRM interface without much trouble. The marketing software will then initiate the workflow, and users can choose to either oversee the emailing process or have it automated – email sequences can be set up so that you can focus on more pressing tasks. EngageBay’s marketing system also generates lead scoring based on customer behavior when they visit your website or check their email – potential leads are then passed onto the sales system to generate the appropriate pitch.

Where they should improve: Although they promote themselves as ‘the world’s largest marketing automation platform’, their automation could be massively improved with a workflow editor and more automations beyond just autoresponders. Emails also have a tendency to end up in Gmail’s Promotions tab – fine if your emails are promoting sales and offers, but less than ideal if they’re informational or transactional. The interface could also be a bit more user-friendly.

How do I create a mailing list in Excel?

Social sites are a great example of how to use activity-based triggers. If someone on Twitter mentions you in a tweet, Twitter can send you an alert-style email, encouraging you to visit Twitter and respond. Messages like this can be a big boon for engagement. Vero's Hexton highlighted LinkedIn's use of autoresponders for skill endorsements in an article on Marketing Land, in which he argued that these drips are effective because they give you a warm, fuzzy feeling and encourage you to go endorse someone else.
Using Mad Mimi, you have two options for supplying a freebie link once the subscriber has clicked “activate”. You can include the free download link in the custom activation message (Webform, Advanced, then “Edit activation message”). Or, you can include an “Activation Landing Page” link to a page on your website that includes the link to the free download. Does that make sense?

Where is the safe senders list in Outlook?

Free plan:The MailJet free plan allows you to send 6,000 emails per month or up to 200 emails per day. This is inclusive of full API access, unlimited contacts, advanced email editor, and advanced statistics.Paid plans:MailJet offers some of the most affordable email marketing plans on the market. They have a Bronze plan starting at $7.49/month. It comes with all the premium features and can handle up to 30,000 emails monthly. They also have a Crystal plan that starts at $21.95/month that can support 60,000 emails, offers premium features, and comes with expert deliverability support.8. MailgunNext on our list is email automation software Mailgun, a program built specifically for developers. Unlike the previous products on this list, this platform doesn’t offer drag-and-drop navigation, so it might not be ideal for users with minimal technical know-how. However, if you are looking for the complete flexibility to configure your campaigns and have IT experts by your side, this will be a boon for you. For one, it has an API-first architecture that is engineered for reliability. It also comes with a robust sending infrastructure and advanced email validation that lets you send transactional emails in bulk without worrying about them bouncing back or ending up in spam.Mailgun also comes with powerful tracking and analytics tools that let you access searchable logs and helps you remain up-to-date on the status of your email campaigns. You can even tag certain data so that it is easier to pull information for A/B testing later on.
Here’s an email marketing platform that really caught our attention. Design-wise, it’s probably one of the more eye-pleasing ones out there, with a colorful interface and fun branding. Although the free plan only allows for up to 1,000 subscribers, the rest is actually pretty generous – you get unlimited emails, access to all features, and, amazingly, no Moosend branding in your emails.
More and more emails are being opened on mobile devices, many of which don’t show fancy formatting, colors, or graphics. That doesn’t mean you can ignore the HTML version of your newsletter: always choose the Drag and Drop Editor in MailChimp so you can develop your own look into a unique template you can use over and over. Keep it clean, simple, and easy to read (remember, columns and colors show up differently on every screen!).

It should be a no-brainer to send your users an email receipt after they make a purchase, but you can also leverage that communication with related products and upsells. And with confirmations for things like plane tickets and hotel rooms, send a quick email a day before the event to put any important confirmation codes at the top of the user's inbox. Then, perhaps, that same drip can send another email a few days later, asking them to review your product or service and offer a coupon for future purchases.

How do I manage a distribution list in OWA?

Similar to MailerLite, you have restricted features available on the free account (e.g. advanced segmentation and delivery by time-zone). But you still have a more generous subscriber amount, and it’s just as user-friendly. And most importantly, you can't use their email or chat support. There's also a small ad banner in each email you send. (Review)

How do I set up a group email list?

Often called drip campaigns but known by many other names—drip marketing, automated email campaign, lifecycle emails, autoresponders and marketing automation—the concept is the same: they’re a set of marketing emails that will be sent out automatically on a schedule. Perhaps one email will go out as soon as someone signs up, another will go out 3 days later, with one more going out the next weekend. Or, the emails can be varied based on triggers, or actions the person has performed like signing up for your service or making a purchase, which is why they're also sometimes called behavioral emails.

Does MailChimp do drip campaigns?

Don’t use exclamation marks or spammy words in your subject lines: that’s a sure way to miss the inboxes and go straight to the spam folder. (How do I know? My own newsletter landed in my very own spam folder when I used the word “free” in the subject.) Use the Mail Tester and Email Subject Line Tester to double check your own subject lines and content before you hit send.

Who should use the free plan: Small to medium-sized businesses who are in need of a decent CRM – because this is where HubSpot really shines. You’ll need to take into account that the monthly sending limit is quite low compared to other tools (though one-to-one sales emails don’t count towards this) and neither A/B testing nor automations are included.
